Mods Upcoming : Acumen Gear Indicator DG8 and Tail Tidy Set

The Green Hornet has been a very fulfilling ride and more mods are in the pipeline to make it a better ride. Let's see what are the mods on the Green Hornet thus far :

1) MRA (Germany) bubble windscreen (RM550),
2) Shogun (Japan) frame sliders (RM500),
3) Givi (Italy) V46 top-box (RM2,800),
4) Givi (Italy) V35 twin panniers (RM2,200),
5) Akrapovic (Slovenia) slip-on exhaust (RM1,500),
6) racing foot rest pair (Malaysia) (RM300),
7) radiator cover (Malaysia) (RM120).

Now, I have another 2 items to be installed with the next bike servicing ie :

8) Acumen (United Kingdom) gear indicator (RM400 after conversion),
9) R&G (United Kingdom) tail tidy with signal lamps (RM400 after conversion).

The gear indicator sells for approximately £80 with VAT, and would be great to let the rider know which gear is the bike using during riding. This would be very helpful in treating the "7th gear syndrome", whereby one upshifts to the non-existence 7th gear thinking that there are more gears upwards.

The tail-tidy is offered by various brands and comes in many shapes and sizes. The one that I bought has carbon fibre parts and is really light. Looking at overseas bike accessories sites revealed that such a tail-tidy set retails at app £80 including VAT.

Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming pictures after the installation, and the subsequent reviews. In the meantime, here are some pics of other Ninja 650R with the tail tidy modus operandi in place.

Before : With original Ninja 650R fender.
After : With tail tidy set to eliminate the original protruding fender piece.
