Point to note is that there are 6 settings- and the default factory setting is at 3. As you go towards 1, the spring is firmer (good for cornering); as you go towards 6, the spring is softer (good for cruising on straight roads).
There was a comment from a UK reader the other day that Green Hornet would look better with a seat cowl. I have always toyed with the idea of getting one- but the local bike accessories' traders were out of stock on the Ermax cowl. There were a few other fibreglass and carbon fibre cowls from Malaysia Boleh enterprisers selling from RM165 to RM300; but I was looking for one that looked good, has good quality and would stay in place even at higher speeds. The idea of using double-sided tape wasn't too appealing to me.
I saw one from the Net that the ER6 owner was fabricating and thinking of selling at an affordable price. Kudos to the good chap for putting on his thinking cap and coming up with one that us enthusiasts would drool over. It looks good and I would gladly buy one off his hand. But I scoured e-Bay and have not chanced upon the same set as yet.
Where does the queue start?
