While the Benelli Keeway may not be the cheapest motard in the Malaysian market given that there were quite a no of models from KTN, Demak, Nimota, etc, its price was still in an affordable range given the goodies installed on the bike in stock condition. How then, could the manufacturer kept the price so affordable?
Simple, it was locally-assembled. Just look at the bike ownership grants above. For my Kawasaki Ninja 650R and Aprilia RS Tuono, it was stated as "Kenderaan Import Baru" in the ownership grant. For my Benelli Keeway TX200G, it was stated as " Pemasangan Tempatan" in the card, hence lowering the cost of entry compared to had it been imported whole.
And for RM7,600 OTR for such a handsome and better-equiped motard, it does seem like a good buy!

I saw one rider using this TX at Kuala Selangor to KL as his daily workhorse and one RKV rider with loud pipe also.
