Consider This : Nolan N104 Modular Helmet @ RM1,250

Readers would know that I was toying with the idea of acquiring a modular fullface helmet, also known as flip-up to most riders. The benefits of a flip-up would be the easy access to your phone, drinks, wind-in-your-face during slower rides, etc. However, flip-ups are heavier than the typical fullface (within the same price bracket) and more fragile too, although they were improving with every new generation.

So I wanted a flip-up but safety is my utmost concern, so I went looking for one of the latest generation. Reading online reviews revealed that one of the best that one could get in the price range of RM1,000 - RM1,500 was the Nolan N104. This helmet made its debut in a helmet fair in 2011, and started production earlier this year. It used to sell circa RM2,100 upon its debut in the early half of 2012, but you can get it for approximately RM1,300 for solid colour series (for "action graphic" series, expect to pay an extra RM100) these days. Prices differ from place to place, so it'd be good to do a bit of research first.

These are also selling at Australia between AUD449 - AUD479 (RM1,408 - RM1,502), and are said to be one of the best-selling premium modular helmets.

Wait on for the Review coming up, mates!
