In the market for a pre-loved ER6-F?

One of the more common e-mails that I get on a weekly basis would include a link to bike trading sites and the query if the pre-loved bike in the advert is worth buying at the asking price. Granted, I would not be inspecting the actual bike so I always advised fellow readers to bring their own learned friends or mechanics to take a look at the actual bike on sale.

And since there have been 2 e-mails this morning asking about a particular example that was close to heart, let's help both the sellers and fellow readers evaluate if it was amongst the better buys in the secondary market at the interim period.

My Opinion :
Between the 3 recent adverts for the ER6-F that was advertised on Mudah, Advert 1's Lime Green ER6-F was the highest-priced. But it was also the bike with the lowest mileage at less than 14k km and a long list of premium aftermarket parts that would have cost some RM10k to be installed if one had decided to undergone the exercise themselves, not to mention the time and effort that had to be spent to requisite and install the said parts.

If it was me whom was in the market for an ER6-F, I would be giving the seller a call to talk further on his prized bike. But that's just me, of course.

Good luck to all sellers on the sales of their ER6-Fs!

  1. Better to spend some money to get a good bike with everything good installed, then a cheap bike but need a lot of work. I will help you spread the word around if my biker friends are looking for the ER6F. If the bike No. 1 can negotiate price to 32,000 then very good price.
